About the Author

I am a Texas girl who loves all things magical... unicorns, rainbows, glitter, mermaids, you name it, I love it! I am a girly girl.  I have a strong personality and am very guarded.  Once I drop my wall and let you into my heart, you are there for good.  I follow my heart and love really hard.  I enjoy traveling and adventure.  I love a good glass of wine and chocolate is good any day of the week!  I have a passion for helping women and I am truly obsessed with glitter and unicorns! I am a mom, wife, entrepreneur and not so broken girl.  My mission is to help women unleash their inner sparkle.

The Family Girl

I have been married to my best friend, Doug, for 16 years and together we have 3 amazing girls.  Our oldest, Kati, is studying Kinesiology and Education at a Christian university.  Our middle daughter, Chesi, graduated high school early through a homeschool program.  She is our fashionista and makeup lover in the family…I wonder where she got it?  She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2016 and it has created many challenges along the way.  As for our baby girl, Nickole, she is in high school and is a soccer princess, playing competitively and consistently.  We are always traveling for tournaments and games.  My girls are what keep me going daily.  I truly believe God blessed me with the most important job in the world…being a mom!

The Entrepreneur

I began my journey in direct sales when I was 18 years old. I realized very quickly how empowering being your own boss could be and I enjoyed leading a team.  It was no surprise that I struggled when I went back to the corporate world.  I enjoyed being on my time and loved the freedom with being in direct sales. For the next 13 years, I worked in a bank, was a legal assistant, tried my hand at several direct sales companies and owned my own online boutique.  In 2013, I decided to go all in with network marketing leaving the corporate world behind.  I wanted to find my purpose in this world.  I wanted to be more than just a mom, wife or employee.  I wanted to be a woman who positively impacted others.  I needed to find flexibility and be financially able to stay at home to enjoy life’s precious moments.  I found a way to have the life I deserved and offer the same dream to others.

I love being a work from home mom.  I love the freedom I am creating for my family. I am building a legacy for our children and enjoying life’s precious moments!  100% of my business is done on social media and I can work from anywhere in the world!  I am the GlitterCEO and lead an amazing tribe of women.  We have created a collaborative, fun and loving environment that encourages every women to unleash their inner sparkle. 

The Not So Broken Girl

Let’s get real!  Not everything is unicorns and rainbows in my life.  Everyone has a past.  Some of us have a dark side they can’t seem to shake.  I have had many traumatic experiences throughout my life.  Although some instances could have been avoided, others could never be expected.  I have learned that life is simply not fair and things happen for no apparent reason.  Life has made many attempts to break me.  I survived through the precious love and grace that only the Lord our Savior can provide.  Many of these experiences will be shared with you revealing how you too can find purpose in the pain.  I pray you find value in this blog and learn to love yourself.
